At Cornerstone all of the ministries of our church relate back to our overall mission "to reach as many people as possible with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help those we reach stay ON TRACK in their on-going pursuit to know, love and serve God." WEE School is in partnership with all the other ministries at Cornerstone to contribute to accomplishing this mission. WEE School occupies a unique role in that partnership, but our primary goal remains reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and discipling believers.
While our mission is the same, the purpose of WEE School is as unique and distinctive as the ministry God has entrusted to us. The purpose of WEE School is to provide a weekday program for young children in a Christian environment that will minister to the child, to the parents, and to the community with respect to the child's physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Our WEE School staff seeks to fulfill the purpose of WEE School by striving to meet three essential goals.
- Provide opportunities for integrating learning based on the child's individual needs, interests and abilities, which will build important foundations for future academic pursuits.
- Provide play and learning experiences appropriate to the child's particular age and developmental level.
- Meet the needs of the community for a Christian early childhood education facility and to contribute to the wholesome growth and development of future citizens of our community.
