Life Development Institute

Cornerstone's Life Development Institute is a series of adult classes on Wednesday nights from 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm in various rooms on our campus. Our goal is to help men and women live lives that more closely resemble the life of Jesus Christ through Bible-based small groups and activities. These opportunities are open to anyone. We simply ask that you register. You may register by filling out the form below, by calling the church office, or by filling out the form attached to one of our Life Development Institute brochures available on Cornerstone's campus. So that we may order resources and plan appropriately we ask that you register by Sunday, June 29.
Cornerstone Adult Choir led by Dave Tomasek- Even during the summer months the Cornerstone Choir members are working on new music. For the next three months we will be rehearsing for a special Sunday Morning Musical Concert: Great Hymns of the Faith. There are 12 hymns that will be included in this Concert of Praise to be given on Sunday, September 7th.
The Living Your Strengths Journey led by Jason Ingram – You are an amazing and unique creation! So often we think of ourselves as normal, everyday people that God might use if no one else was available. The reality is that nothing could be further from the truth! God has uniquely gifted and equipped you for specific ministry - one created specifically for you! Imagine being able to serve God and others by making the most of the ways in which you naturally think, feel, and behave. Imagine enjoying serving God more and being more successful in doing so. In the Living Your Strengths Journey you will discover and learn to focus on your strengths - those innate and God-given talents - rather than on your weaknesses. Participants will discover their top five strengths by completing an online Gallup survey developed from over 30 years of research and over 2 million research subjects. All materials for this journey will be provided and there is a $20 cost for materials.
The Purpose Driven Life led by Erick Byrd - The most basic question everyone faces in life is, "Why am I here?" What is my purpose? While self-help books abound, the starting place must be with God and His eternal purposes for each person's life. Real meaning and significance come from understanding and fulfilling God's purposes for putting each of us on earth. Join us on this journey as each of us learn the reason why we are here!
The Sermon on the Mount led by David Myers - Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7 is one of the most famous passages in all of Scripture. In this passage Jesus provides us with incredible guidance on everything from prayer, to relationships, to true treasure. Join us as we delve into this influential passage that will challenge us all to live our lives from an eternal perspective.
Wednesday Night Childcare contact Cindy Hunter - There is a wonderful opportunity for you to serve with our "youngest" Cornerstone people...Wednesday night Childcare. Volunteers are needed for babies through 2-year-olds for each session.
